This thread is for any questions that you may have related to theology, apologetics, ethics, the philosophy of religion, and so forth. Scriptural questions are also welcome, but expect a response informed by theology. Please do not reply to posted questions here. I will re-post submitted questions on the main blog and manage the discussion thread there. I do not pretend to have the only answer or even a good answer to any specific question, but will do my best to research and communicate the range of scholarly opinions related to questions that are submitted.

We met on a flight to Chicago in July, and part of our conversation was about the absence of the Apocrypha in the Protestant bibles. This morning, I heard about a new book on this very subject. I just ordered a copy from Amazon. I thought you may be interested in checking it out as part of your theological studies. The book is, “Canon Crossfire: Does the Protestant Bible Blow up the Case for Christianity?”, by Matthew Mark McWhorter, Esq.

Great to hear from you, Kelly! It is not often that I get to have such an enjoyable theological discussion on a flight. I just ordered a copy of Canon Crossfire – interesting that it is written by an attorney. I hope that all is well!
